2002 taurus chirps replaced belt still chirps engine dies after warm can start and drive again engine light on turns off after battery disconnect for 12 hrs

Chirp is probably a bad bearing in the belt idler/tensioner pulley? Or tensioner pulley is not keeping belt tight enough? If CEL is on after stall get codes read free at auto chain stores. Then post back code #'s.
