i want to buy a used 02 taurus .they said speedometer cable went out and then the check engine light came on. so i guess its a 2 part question .how much to replace cable.and would the cable breaking cause the check engine light to come on?

Dunno the cost due to location-also have the computer scanned for code/s-something caused the light to come on-start here
