abs braks hard to apply braks peddel want go down what is the problem

when car starts i put car in gere for drivi car jumps to start when i try to stop brake peddel will not go down to stop the car like it was stuck
when i put car in nutral the car and braks work fine. when i put car in drive the transmission****** into poisiton

If the brake pedal is hard to push, check for vacuum leaks to the power brake booster. If there is a leak, it will cause the engine to run poorly.
