Hi, changed the fuel filter with no problem easy in fact. The reason I change it is because of shuddering when accelerating and slight back firing. A mechanic suggested I change it because there could be water in it, but its still doing it and I have put some injector cleaner in the fuel as well. Any further advice what be appreciated.

If you are getting a shudder, make sure the fuel pressure is within spec and you may want to check the engine for a tune up if it hasn't been done.
