I just changed my coil and valve cover gasket, and water pump on my 2002 ford fucus it is a man transmision, today when I got in it to go somewhere it hesitates when I put it in first gear and hit the gas, what could the problem be?

Check the pcv hose at the intake as they will collapse and leak.
