ok im gonna try to get to the point on this question. I bought this 2002 ford focus from a third party for 700, ok we tow it home . we thought it was the battery because it sat for awhile. we put another battery in it . we start it . its got this loud noise in the head .so its the valves or lifters and pistons. my question is what do i need to do to fix it , im on a budget . or did i buy a lemon, a waste of my time. please help

The first thing you need is a qualified tech to diagnose your problem correctly before you can make any informed decisions. You can't simply guess and you won't find that answer online from someone that hasn't seen or heard the problem
