2002 Ford Focus air conditioner

The problem is for some odd reason there was recently some Freon added to my vehicle and now it seem as it has emptied out it is no longer blowing cool air the fan and everything else works but there is no cold air coming out and we tried putting freon in it and tgere was no cold air coming out and the place where it was put in when you cut it on it starts to. Smoke as if it is burning what could it be

If you r large line going into car is not cold then it's an ac problem the burning I'm assuming is the clutch for compressor burning up have a professional look at this to properly diagnose it.
