I pulled out of my driveway drove 100 yard down the street went to put truck in park from drive and it will not go, it will go 1st, 2nd, drive, then will not go past there, so I shut truck off and disconnected cable at arm on transmission and tried to put in in park manually, even with my buddy holding the brake I can get it to go all the way down to 1st, then it clicks up to 2n2nd, then it clicks up to drive, then I can't get it to shift past that point, so truck won't even start. What do u think the problem is? I have never had a problem with it, no noise, sounds, nothing leaking, never slipped while driving, etc.

What is the digital range selector, I disconnected shifter cable from that arm but still can't shift it manually, I'm not sure what range selector is.

It's behind the shifter arm and has two bolts holding it on trans. You are supposed to use an alignment tool to reinstall it. See pic

So jut be careful and take this piece off, if I can then reach over and move the arm and the truck will shift, that's the problem, but if I take that off and the truck still will not go past drive to neutral, rev, or park then what would be my next step? If it does shift with this thing off, and that is the problem, can I get that from oreillys or Ford house only? How much is one u think?
