Wiring Harness connector under dash

2002 ford explorer v8 4x4- Hi there, I was looking under my dash near the OBD II connector and saw a green wiring harness connector that had nothing connected to it. I looked around and didn't see anything that would connect to it. Is that supposed to be left the way it is? Or should there be something there that's supposed to connect to it? The car runs fine. Thanks!

Thats either a factory connector used for there equipment or some acessory that your vehicle did not come with. Not to worry. There are a few of them in everyones car.
