Air bag lite

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer gently used, the air bag lite flashes or stays on, is there an inexpensive way to fix the problem, thanks :)

Gotta know what the cause is before we can determine the cost. The most common problem is probably the clock spring. That is a wound-up ribbon cable in a plastic housing under the steering wheel. As it continues to break, you will also lose the horn and cruise control.
