Dead Battery

Vehicle will start with a Jump but will not stay running for more than a minute or two after jumper cables are removed. Bad Battery? Alternator? Help!

It could be either. You need to have the battery load tested. Most parts stores will do it for free. As far as the alt, if the battery tests good, remove the alt and have it tested at the same place. Again, most do it for free. Finally, if they both test good, have the fuseable link between the alt and battery tested. If it is bad, the battery and alt can't work together.
