2002 Ford Escape Cold Outside Been About Half Hour Since Car Last Driven Noticed

When my 2002 Escape is cold or it is cold outside and it has been about a half hour since the car was last driven I have noticed that all of the lights from the firewall back do not come on. I bought the car used and I don't know its history. Can you tell me what the problem could be and where to find the problem on the vehicle? Thank You

check fuses and groudns for lights in rear of car it may have been wrecked and a ground is off or loose
