2002 Ford E-Series Van van will not idle..

van starts but will not idle....put cleaner in tank filled up to about 1/4...when starting up black
smoke came out of tail pipe after white...plugs and wires changed,,,vans revs up okay but will not idle... no engine light illuminated for this problem.....

It is possible that the cleaner you used caused the black smoke. As far as the idle problem, have you checked for vacuum leaks and the idle air control valve (IAC)? The IAC is responsible for maintaining engine idle.
