2002 Ford Crown Victoria acceleration

I have a 2002 crown victoria intercceptor, my problem is that when i take off from a cold start it works fine. But as i get down the road it slows down and loses power. I think I go about 25 30 at the.most. Not sure what it could be.

If it is just loosing power and not misfiring, it may be a transmission problem, does the engine still rev strong if you select park or neutral when power drops off, also do a scan and check for any fault codes as well
