How do you replace a crank position sensor on a 2002 dodge 2.7ltr stratus

car fired up and some smoke came from hood area and was shut down by wife. no leaks or visible pvisual problems with hood raised. trouble code crank sensor.

why do you thinkt eh crank position sensor is bad? scan for codes and check for fuel pressure. the smoke coudl be from coolant or oil on exaust manifold
