2002 dodge stratus 2.4L DOHC, with a/c compressor clutch noise(definately). Clutch can not be purchased seperate, so need to replace compressor w/ clutch. Q. Since the cluch is bad does that mean the system is contaminated and need a drier w hose?
I know once replace compressor/clutch the system will need to be vac'd and charged, but unsure if I need to replace drier and hose or can pre-existing remain? There is no leak in system at this time.
Stupid question, please let me know your expertise when answering this question.
Thank you for helping me.
