my 2002 dodge ram 1500 wont start, just makes a clcking sound. would the problem be the start or selenoid or something else? lights and everything work and battery was just replaced.

If that's a truck it uses a Nippendenso starter that commonly develops worn solenoid contacts. You'll hear a single rather loud clunk each time you turn the ignition switch to "crank". That always starts out as an intermittent no-crank condition that gets worse over time. It will crank if you cycle the ignition switch enough times. If this started suddenly and was not intermittent first there is likely a bad connection in one of the battery cables.
