2002 Dodge Ram Driving Truck Hit Brakes Hard Check Gauges Light Comes On Oil

When im Driving the Truck, when i hit the brakes hard the check gauges light comes on and the Oil pressure gauge drops to low but when i press the gas it goes back to normal. i dont hear any knocking.

How low are the RPM's dropping to?

its not dropping too much it feels normal but i can tell its lacking power.

Are you sure the oil is full? Also, you may have a bad oil sending unit. However, you may want to test the oil pressure before replacing it to make sure that is the problem.
