I've had a problem with my truck now for about 2 years. Theres a noise coming from under my truck when I accelerate from a stop. It only makes the noise in between 1 and 5 mph and also if im going slow up a steep hill. And always makes it if im pulling out from a stop off a inclined hill. Sounds like a brake squeak followed by a groaning noise that can be heard inside or out. I feel it under the floorboard kinda towards the back maybe. Ive had the transmission serviced, rear diff serviced, driveshaft checked out and still cant pin point the problem. Any help would be awesome

Hi JB99661,

Were the ball joints checked?
Symptoms seems to indicate a bad/dry ball joint and it could be from the control arms or steering.

Yes I had all that inspected when I replaced the front wheel bearing. I also had the u-joints checked out. The noise is coming from behind me when im pulling off from a stop. It only does it when im pulling out and after I get up to about 5 mph it stops. Im going to take the wheels off and inspect the brakes and rotors. The autozone guy suggested it could be rear wheel cylinders going bad. I have noticed that since my brakes have started squeaking I have heard the noise alot more so it might be something with the brakes not sure but any suggestions would be awesome. But I am almost 100% the noise is from the back of the truck
