I have a neon 02 that lately has been shaking a lot when I come to a stop either when the ac is on or not, specially bad when the ac is on. It's like it's about to shut down. Whenever I accelerate the car,it acts like it's choked and doesn't accelerate properly just after a while comes back to normal. The engine light was on and I tried to change the throttle sensor and it won't do anything, after that I change the idle sensor and it was a little better and the light was off, but now is bad again and the light it's back again and consuming way too much was. The air filter is new as well as the oil change and the spark plugs. I don't know what else to check. What can it be?

i am not 100% sure but if you have got a airflow metre on it try cleaning or replacing that it will be located some where on the pipe coming off your air fillter box if you have got 1 undo the clips either side unplug the electric connector and spray the sencor inside with some carb cleaner connect back and see if that makes any diff hope info is helpfull

What you're describing is typical of a misfire due to old spark plugs and wires that have been ignored too long. At the mileage you listed they should have been replaced at least once already. What gave you the idea to replace the throttle position sensor and the idle speed motor? Neither of those will cause misfires or rough running. Replacing random parts in hopes one will solve a problem is the most expensive and least effective way to diagnose it. The best place to start is by reading the diagnostic fault codes. There are well over a thousand potential codes related to problems the Engine Computer detects. Chrysler makes reading those codes yourself real easy. Cycle the ignition switch three times from "off" to "run" within five seconds without cranking the engine, leave it in "run", watch the code numbers show up in the odometer display, then go here to see what they mean:

It's important to understand those codes will never say to replace parts or that a part is defective. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis.
