2002 Dodge Durango 5.9 R/T wont start. How can I check for fuel pump and spark? If both okay then what?

Easy way pull plug wire hold 1/4 in from block have someone crank spark? If yes spray CARB cleaner into throttle body crank fire for sec?

Do you suggest putting a screwdriver into the plug cap and then earthing it on top of the engine?

You could but hold it 1/4 away so it will spark

The spark plugs are fine - engine ran for about a minute then stopped and now will not start again

Did you spray cabr clean in throttle body?

No. Have no got any spray. Can hear fuel pump kick in when turn ignition on. Checked round vacuum hoses for leaks and air filter is fine. Whether there is petrol coming through I have no way of knowing. Tank is full. Engine was running perfectly prior to this.
