2002 Dodge Durango 5 9 4wheel Dr Starts Fine Now Wont Move Drive Reverse

i have a 2002 dodge durango 5.9 4wheel dr starts up fine. but now wont move in drive or reverse. checked the shift cable. is shifting fine ,but doesn't sound or feel like the trans is engaging . what could this be?

check for fluid level first then have a trans guy look at it it could be anything

CHECKED FLUID LEVEL AND HAS WAY TO MUCH FLUID, ALMOST DOUBLE THE AMOUNT REQUIRED, COULD THIS HAVE SOME THING TO DO WITH IT?

it could but i kinda doubt it if it's to much fluid teh coolan line in radiator could have possibly broken and got into transmisssion which is not a good thing. that's why a trans guy shold check itout.
