4 wheeldrive service light on too much traction while driving (happen after giving a boost)

It sounds like the vehicle isn't coming out of 4wd. Check to see if there is power to the 4wd actuator on the transfer case. If there is, remove the actuator and check it for function. Check the wiring harness to it making sure there is no damage or corrosion.
