check for a broken cable or shift interlock problem

Cables r ok
Didn't know there was. An interlock on this model.
Thought it was all mechanical.

see ics you have to pput trans in park for this you may have to disconnect cable at trans to get in park then fix cable first. this also may be an ignition lock problem
