o 2 sensor

error code says i need an o2 sensor just want to know where it is located bank one sensor 2 is it on the drivers side after the small cat or the pass side after the cat ? and how should i prceed in taking off the old one and putting in a new one i dont want to snap it off or break it thankyou

First of all what is the exact code number you have? The code is a starting point not a replacement code.

Which engine do you have? Also do you have a multi meter to do some testing?

4,7 magnum dodge dakota i had a meter put on it on that is the code that came up

Its going to be the one on the left side by the cat unplug the connector to it.Then measure the sennsor side of the connecotors accross the dark green wire and the black wire with a white stripe.You should measure 12.1-14.8 ohms do this when its totally cold and has sat overnight.
