ok, I do not see that this motor uses a knock sensor.

why do you think you need this sensor??

There is a 2001 dodge durango on utube with the same engine as mine. It was making the same sound and doing exactly what my truck is doing. They changed the knock sensor it. Now it runs fine. All the auto parts stores carry the knock sensor for my truck.
