headlights, interior lights, and door locks inoperable

Check the headlight switch and all fuses. Check to make sure you have a good ground to the engine block, body grounds... As far as the locks, I don't believe they are on the same circuit. Check to make sure there is power to the switch. Many times the wiring between the door and door frame gets damaged.
