Front passenger side brakes smoking and pulls to that side when braking. After they cooled off I took removed caliper but did not disconnect hose. Checked pads, they look good. Compressed caliper cylinder and then applied brakes with no problem. Sanded down some grooves on the rails that the pads ride on and reassembled brakes applying grease to the pins and rails. After test drive the brakes still heated up.

Could be either a sticking caliper, sticking slides or bad flex hose on that side. Whatever you do, do it in pairs (both sides).

That's what I was thinking but when its cooled off the problem goes away. Will the caliper stick after the brakes warm up?

It has to be checked while the problem is present and the wheel is locked up. Assuming this is only one wheel, with the wheel in the air, crack the bleeder open and see if that frees up the wheel. If it does, the caliper and slides are good and the problem is likely the hose.
