The front of my van has developed a creek

2002 dodge grand caravan - like the springs in an old mattress) what kind of problem am I looking at? It makes the creek sound when you brake or go over a bump.

i would look at the ball joints and tie rod ends, which have no grease points.
i would also look at all the bushings in the control arms as well.
the upper strut mounts can do it too.
