Check engine light

Dodge Grand Carvan Sport 02, Check engine light is on, runs very good, no problem at all, replaced crankshaft position sensor NO USE, checked sensor Wiring, wires were sticked I separated Now If I clear the Code by any means First time engine Starts and Light goes off even if I drive as much or fast or slow does not matter but as soon as I restart light comes bak, what should I do to get rid of that light?

Why did you replace the crank sensor if it's running? When the Check Engine light comes on, there will be at least one diagnostic fault code stored in the Engine Computer. Most auto parts stores will read those codes for you for free. They will lead you to the circuit or system with the problem, not necessarily the defective part.

Also be sure the gas cap is tight. The system is pumped up to 2 pounds of pressure while driving to check for leaks.
