The car drives fine but the mil light has come on and stays on while driving can u tell me what could be wrong and when fixed will the light go out or do I have to have it reset by a garage thanks

You need to retrieve the troubele code to find out what is causing the MIL to come on and rectify the problem before the light would go off.
