run normal for a second then rpm's will drop off

My car just started to act weird. When I turn it on it will run normal for a second and then my rpms will drop and shoot back up. It will do it a couple times and then stall. And when I go to drive if I come to a complete stop it normally will stall.

It won't stay running if i just leave it sit it will just stall?

Check fuel pressure. Check compression. Check for vacuum leaks.
