Hey Guys I was just watching this video on YouTube about how to change the brakes and rotors on a PT. The question I have is this, you never mentioned at all any need to bleed the brakes? Can I safely change the pads and rotors without having to do this? This is the first time I am changing the brakes on this car and dont want to mess it up as my 7 year old daughter is in the car with me a lot of the time. Last question- you didnt clean off the piston or caliper either? What can I use in my garage to clean away some of the brake dust build up that wont effect the brakes/rotors?

You can use brake cleaner and just suck some fluid form the master cylinder prior to backing the caliper piston up. If the fluid is all black then suck it all out prior to installing new fluid or have a pro bleed the brakes.
