i am looking to purchase a 2002 chevrolet venture. it rode smooth during the test drive. but once we got to an empty parking lot and began doing circles there was an aweful squealing / moaning sound when the steering wheel was turned to hard. is this a complicated fix? and is it something i need to be concerned about with future repairs?
it is all wheel drive. my dad told me that it could be expensive to maintain if this occurs often. what is your advice?

The noise sounds like the belt slipping if you are turning to steering too far. See if that is what it is.
