after installing a new starter, the van starts fine, but when I start to drive I hear a loud screech sound accompanied by the headlights flickering.

Alternator turned out fine on everything, sound seems to be coming from engin area near the starter itself. Hard to tell with that due to it only happening when driving. Could it be shimming? Hasn't been shimmed

I found out that it was that it needed shimmed and also the electrical wires that were on the + terminal were moving around loosly so I tightened that up as well. Everything is in tip top shape now.
