Im having trouble removing ball joint on the control arm. Also what is the torque on power steering lines on the rack n pinion

There is a flange around the top of the ball joint that needs to be chiseled off before you try to start pressing it out. Are you using a ball joint press? From what I can find its about 18 ft-lbs on the steering line to steering pump. Honestly you really dont need to be concerned about the torque spec on the lines.Just be sure to replace the o-rings, and tighten them down snug. After you start the truck you can inspect for leaks.
