My trailblazer will not crank or start. I have replaced starter, starter relay, and ignition switch. Does nothing. I was thinking it was an issue with my security, but it blinks only a few times and stops so I can't do the relearn process with the key in the ignition. I don't know what fuses to check. The starter can be jumped with a screwdriver and the engine will turn over but only for a moment. The lights interior and exterior come on. Had batt charged at 95% before reinstalling. Checked connection there is juice to the starter. When I turn the key there is one click as if the engine is trying to initialize but the nothing. I don't know what else to do. I am a single mother with a special needs child and I'm just so lost. Please please help me#

The battaey has been disconnneted several times. Now is dead and I need to recharge. But us the disconection of the battery what will cause the security light to blink for the "10" min increment? For me to then relearn the issues with the key and ignition?

Anytime the battery is disconnected it engages security charge the battery and reset the security it should start unless there is something wrong with security system which a pro will need to scan to see if there is or not. Also make sure battery is in good condition including load test. Most places do for free. A low battery causes all kind of problems

So, essentially what id like to know is will a new battery solve the issue? Ive had the battery charged via autozone which was the 95% charge I mentioned. Eairler. But I assume due to a bad cell, its not giving me enough juice to do anything other then run the inner and outer lights? Confirmes the ignition switch is. Set properly. I know with juice in the battery I can jump. The starter and force the engine to turn over but it only lasts for the time the screwdriver is engaged with the starter. The battery cable that leads to the starter is getting juice, and again I assume just not enough. Starter relay also replaced. Please tell me how to proceed from here? Its getting. Cold very fast and its so essential I get this taken care of as quickly as possible.

Have your battery checked for condition including load test. Then if battery is good which with a dead cell they aren'treset security and it should start unless there is another problem.

What could any of the other issues be? I feel I've done the basics and other then the battery I've no idea what else to even look into. I'm on a very fixed income especially having a special needs child so I truly can't afford to have it towed to a shop or pay shop costs

If you replace the battery with a known good one then reset security like I said in last reply otherwise it wil have to be scanned for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge.
