i have a 2002 trailblazer ext and the check engine light is on. i took it to have a diagnostic run and the guy said he could not get a reading and to check the fuse. i have looked at the manual and both fuse boxes but don't know which fuse to look for. Any help?

The fastest way is to use a test light. The fuses have two small holes on top to take readings. Turn the ignition switch to "run", then probe both terminals of all the fuses. The test light will show voltage, (light up), on both terminals of most fuses. A few won't be powered up so the light will be off on both terminals. You're looking for one where the test light lights up on one terminal but not the other one.
