I have a '02 Chevy Silverado v8 with a fuel problem. I was driving it one day and the truck just died and would not start. So I towed it home. I believed it to be the fuel pump so I bought a new one and replaced it. After the change, the pump comes on but no fuel is getting to at least the fuel filter. I made sure that all the lines and wiring was correct. I have checked fuses, relays and a few other things. Truck turns over and will start if I put fuel through the breather. Any help would be grateful.

I think I found out part or all of the problem. I blew compressed air through the fuel pressure check valve and got the truck to run for about 5 minutes. I will be trying to do this to all the lines and replacing the fuel filter and go from there. @BMRFIXIT the new pump came with the new harness and I did replace it. Thanks for the response.
