2002 Chevrolet Silverado Fuel issues

I am having fuel issues when I try to start the truck. If I try to start the truck right away it will not start. It will just crank and crank. If I cycle the key forward to hear the fuel pump kick on, repeat this three times, it will start. I have replaced the fuel filter last week, the fuel pump this summer. This is the 3rd fuel pump since I have owned it.

Is it anything else besides fuel pump?

Honestly like a lot of experts will do. If you can, hook up a fuel pressure gauge before your first key cycle to see what your initial fuel pressure is. Did the new fuel pumps come with a new harness to replace the one at the fuel module?
