I have some electrical problems

my 2002 malibu will charge for about 5 minutes and then it stops charge and all the gauges stop working put alterator on it new and it is still doing it please help if you can

I am providing you with the wiring diagram for the instrument panel. you might have a bad ground or short. So use the diagram to first check all the grounds for corrosion and a good tight fit against bare metal. Then check the circuit wires that seem to have the most trouble and look for bare wires or shorts to metal and loose connections.
