2002 Chevrolet Malibu steering problem

Too much play when I steer to the left. It doesn't respond the way it should. I have to turn it farther than normal when making a turn. Have to over compensate
sometimes feels like I have less control. Getting afraid to drive it this way.
also makes a clunking noise at times.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED SOME "HANDS ON" INSPECTING

PERSONALLY, WITH A STEERING OR BRAKING BAD ISSUE......I NO DRIVE IT NO MORE!!!
