02 Malibu. Head of bleeder valve/screw is rounded off. Can I replace the value itself or do I need to replace the caliper. I think it's flared out on the bottom because they don't turn more than a 1/4 turn. Don't want to apply too much force and have it snap off.

Yes, you can replace them, but can you get it out? If it only turns a quarter turn, spray a penetrating fluid on it and keep working it back and forth. If it breaks, you will need a new caliper.
