Can't turn the key on/off, to make the car start. It's blocked, so i have to change the ignition cylinder.
Is it necessary to disconnect the battery, air bag and horn first? My mechanic told me i can't do it that easy because the computer of the car won't recognize the new cylinder, so i need a specialist to reconnect the cylinder with all the system.
Watching on youtube it seems so easy, no disconnecting the battery, horn or airbag...it seems like i only have to deal with a few screws and replace the cylinder, very easy.
What's the [procedure, considering my Chevy Express is from 2002, so not a very sophisticated car.
