How do I change the Brake light switch on a 2002 chevy corvette ?

My brake lights are not coming on. The tail lights come on though. I checked the bulbs and fuse and they are fine.

Switch on top of brake pedal on support bracket. when switch is closed,pedal depressed, brake lights on. see if voltage to switch and does switch operate
