Hose between air filter box & air box on engine has fresh engine oil in it . Car runs great.

Check and replace the PCV valve.

I have been told it has no PCV valve & I can't find one.

Is there anything in the valve cover that would allow pressure to escape from the crankcase?

There is hose from rocker cover to air box, but it is dry in hose & that end of air box.
