On my 2002 cavalier the a/c compressor cuts on & off repeatedly when the a/c or defrost is turned on. Since I cannot invest much money in the car, can I just cut the 2 wires going to the compressor which I assume engage and disengage the compressor clutch. Will this be an easy fix preventing the compressor from ever engaging. I'm happy to live without a/c and I assume I will still get Defrost but without the compressor running.
Thanks, Ron
