2002 Chevrolet Camaro Son Replaced Fuel Filter Installed New Pump Pump Turning

My son replaced his fuel filter and installed a new fuel pump. The new pump is turning on as it should but the car still isn't starting. He failed to get the air out of the filter. What is the easiest way to remove the air from the fuel line or is that the problem

Not normally a problem, but you can hit the pressure release on the regulator and turning the key on.
