My rear main seal is leaking. The leak is not too bad yet but annoying for the mess on my driveway. Do I need to get it fixed right away? How long can I wait to replace it? Is there any harm to the vehicle if I wait to repair it?

The leak, in and of itself, won't hurt anything. However, you must keep an eye on the oil level. Also, make sure that the oil isn't getting on the exhaust because oil does have a flash point. Finally, it will need repaired when it gets to a point that constitutes repair. Basically, when you get tired of the mess or the oil consumption is excessive enough that you can justify the repair.
