My blower motor fan works for a while then will stop. It wont work on any speed for long. I replaced the blower fan module already and I still have the same problem. Do I need to replace fan selector switch. This is a 2002 avalanche when I turn on the a/c or the heat sometimes the fan will work sometimes it will not.

How can I check the fan speed selector to see if it works properly. Or do you have any other suggestions on what the problem is. When the a/c or heat does come on it blows cold or hot but the fan blows only one speed no matter where the fan switch is set.

Seems to be a failing fan motor. Give the fan motor housing a little banging with you hands and if the motors starts working, it is due for replacement.
